1. Information processed

When you start a capture, PageFuse temporarily processes the visible content and layout of the active webpage to create the screenshot you requested. This processing happens locally on your device.

The extension may store the following locally in your browser:

• screenshots you create;
• screenshot details such as source URL, page title, dimensions and capture time;
• extension preferences such as image format, quality and capture behaviour.

2. Information not collected

PageFuse does not collect or transmit analytics, browsing history, personal information, authentication credentials, financial information, health information, communications or location data.

3. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell, share or transfer user data to third parties. The extension contains no advertising or tracking code.

4. Data retention and deletion

Screenshots and settings remain in local browser storage until you delete an individual capture, clear the history, clear browser storage or uninstall the extension. You control whether local screenshot history is enabled and how many recent captures are kept.

5. Permissions

• activeTab and scripting: access the page you choose to capture and run the capture helper on it.
• storage: keep preferences and recent captures locally.
• downloads and clipboardWrite: save exports and copy images when you ask.
• offscreen: stitch captured frames into one image in a hidden page inside the extension.

6. Protected pages

Chrome prevents extensions from capturing protected browser pages such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. PageFuse does not attempt to bypass those restrictions.

7. Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the changed version is released.
